A nice/decent stay near Krishna janmabhumi

The stay was pleasant , the location of the hotel is good as it is near Krishna janmabhumi, an electric auto/tuk tuk will take around 30 rs (one way) to the janmabhumi . Location wise the hotel is average though still connected to all the places to the city . Not advisable the solo travelers(especially females ) to travel beyond 8 :30 at night in the city . the ambience and the food of the of the hotel is nothing great ...very average , even the enterance to the hotel is not very pleasing , We could hear the staff talking and cleaning in our room , which put us off.The room is good but expected a better room/hotel for the price we paid .

On average this is a good place which is well located and close to the birth place of Krishna. There is a Baskin Robbins outside and restaurant is ok. Breakfast options were not so varied but service was good. Overall not 5 star as I think there is room for improvement on the bathrooms. Otherwise a decent stay.

To start with, the name 'the mansion' is a misnomer because i was expecting quite a large room as the literal meaning goes. i was surprised to find the hotel room quite small. however, my surprise turned to a pleasant surprise once when i saw the bedding so beautifully and tastefully laid out. my first reaction was to lie down and nestle my head into the pillows. but did not want to undo the beautiful layout, nor did i have the time to lie down. the hotel is new and so everything about it was neat and tidy. the food in the restaurant was delicious. krishna janmasthan temple is just walking distance from the hotel. mr shailendra was quite courteous and helpful. as it is near the temple, you could get motor rickshaws or autos[ lesser in number] easily to travel to vrindavan temples. your trip is incomplete without buying mathura peda and the famous brijwasi pedewale shop is near to this hotel. on the whole i enjoyed my stay here and regret i stayed only one day here.

I had a booking with hotel (Room no-209) for 21st-22 oct 2018 which was a day back. Below are the reasons listed for the 0 rating: 1) I called up hotel on 21st to make my room ready since i was coming bit late, but in the first go the hotel staff was not able to find my booking, they called me back after 20-30 mins to confirm saying that - "Yes sir, we have booking on your name". 2) I have booked deluxe room and it was very small. 3) Room bell was not working. 4) Lost of disturbance in the intercom provided 5) Worst breakfast buffet i ever had in any hotel 6) Initially even TV (DTH) was not working, so that also some technician visited later to fix some issue. 7) One of the LED light over mirror is blinking. 8) Even washrooms seems to have shared wall which have some exhaust fan and we can literally hear voice coming from other room.

We spent here only one night, but we tried a hotel restaurant as well and the food was delicious (malai kofta and paneer butter masala). Unfortunately the breakfast started later then was announced by a hotel manager, so we had to wait more then half an hour. The room itself was comfortable, bathroom clean, supplied with hot water.
